Save

syntax: ^save [-s][-q] [-o] [name]

  • Saves the specified saved game to be played at a later date
  • Any currently running game must be ^stop'd before saving a game.
  • Saved games are personal, but if another user has a saved game named "x", you cannot save a game and call it "x".
  • The -s option will only save the settings of the game, if they exist. See ^set for more information on settings.
  • The -q option will only save the questions in the game.
  • If both -s and -q are provided, both settings and questions will be saved.
  • The -o option is used if you wish to overwrite a saved game (i.e., once you've started it later and made more progress in it).
  • NOTE: You may only have 5 saved games at a time. Choose them wisely!

e.g.

<me> ^start oldgame
<zorobot> Starting the training game of unlimited questions… Total number of questions: 200
<me> ^save -o oldgame
<zorobot> The game can only be saved after the current game is stopped
<me> ^stop
<zorobot> Game stopped
<me> ^save -o oldgame
<zorobot> Game saved as "oldgame"//

<Fighter747> ^log creator=Progeny
<zorobot> progenyjlpt3 progenymean3
<Fighter747> ^save progenymean3
<zorobot> The game "progenymean3" already exists, please use another name
