Set

syntax: ^set <option> <value>

  • This command allows you to change settings for the training game
  • Only one option can be set at a time, but ^save can be used to save your settings for later use
  • The available options are: approx | color1 | color2 | ex_delay | ex_type | ex_maxgrade | ex_maxwordlevel | ex_mingrade | ex_minlevel | ex_minwordlevel | ex_morph | ex_rate | ex_wordtype | guess | hit_delay | level | miss_delay | rep_delay | timeout
    • approx: The bot will accept more approximate answers the higher this value is (0 = exact, 5=lenient) Up to 50% leniency given.
    • color1: Used primarily in the text of questions and status text (also definitions)
    • color2: Used primarily in the text of answers (colors are used randomly for some output)
    • ex_delay: Used to set a delay for viewing sample compounds or sentences (3-30 seconds can be set)
    • ex_maxgrade: Set the highest grade of kanji that will be given in examples (0-10)
    • ex_maxwordlevel: Set the highest word level given in examples (0-5) * Not yet used *
    • ex_mingrade: Set the lowest grade of kanji that will be given in examples (0-10)

    • guess: Number of guesses that can be given during a guessing game (see ^start for more information)
    • hit_delay: Delay after a question is answered until the next question is given (1-30 seconds). Delays less than 3 seconds will not show the answers to a question unless the question was missed.
    • level: Default familiarity level of the trivia game. This must be set before a game is started. (1 = low familiarity, 7 = high familiarity)
    • miss_delay: Delay after a question times out until the next question is given (3-30 seconds)
    • rep_delay: Repetition delay for the lowest familiarity level (20-200 seconds)
      • Setting this will affect how long questions take to repeat. Questions with a higher level will have a longer delay than this setting.
    • timeout: Time until a question times out from not being answered (5-100 seconds)

<me> ^set guess 1
<zorobot> guess = 1
