Start
syntax: ^start [theme_name] [number_of_questions] -f -p -g -n -c [stage=…] [multi=…]
Summary
- This command is used to start a new game, or continue the currently active game.
- Training games are quite customizable. Some of the basic parameters are as follows: *NOTE* Currently, some type of theme/list must be specified in order to use these options (i.e. you cannot do "^start -p" and expect to start a personal game)
- -f: first-hit game
- Questions answered correctly the first time they are asked will be removed from the game. Questions missed on the first try will resume the standard system of levels (See ^view for more information).
- -p: personal game
- If a person with an IRC nickname other than the game starter answers a question, the level will not change.
- -g: guessing game, requires ^join
- Each player in the game may guess the answer to any question a certain number of times before the game will move on to another question (See ^view for information on viewing/setting the number of guesses).
- -n: no shuffle game
- Will ask questions from the theme based on their order in the lists.
- -c: cooperation game, requires ^join
- Questions will remain in play until all players have answered correctly or the question times out. Everyone who has answered correctly receives a point for that question.
- stage=#: stage game
- Divide the game into # stages
- multi=#: multiple answer game
- Require # answers for a question or the max answers that question has
- -f: first-hit game
